DIY Bath Salts

Here’s a gift-giving idea that will work for you, too!  This recipe mixes up a batch of 3-4 bottles which leaves enough for you to enjoy a nice, long soak in a hot tub after a hectic day of Christmas shopping or whatever tangles your tinsel this holiday season.  😉

The recipe calls for Dead Sea salts.  It can be substituted with Himalayan salts, but the Dead Sea salts have so many documented health benefits (just google it) that it is well worth it.

Don’t drink wine (or forgot to save the bottles)?  I’ve got great news!  This is a GREAT idea for recycling all those NingXia Red bottles!!!  I found a post on Pinterest where someone had painted and decorated the NingXia bottles and filled them with Lavender bath salts.  (Sorry I can’t give proper credit.  If it’s your picture, please let me know.  I will promptly give you the appropriate credit and thanks for the great idea.)

So get mixing and decorating!  The possibilities and blends are endless!
